Christ is our foundation.
Unity is our strength.
We are a House of God guided by the Holy Spirit. We exist to restore lives, strengthen families, make disciples and develop leaders who transform communities for the glory of God.
Our history
Bet-el Church began in Biscoe in 2003 with a desire to reach the lost and become a pillar of community transformation. We continue moving forward with gratitude, committed to equipping people and serving our community.
Our vision
To be a powerful, restoring church filled with the Holy Spirit, transforming lives, making disciples and developing leaders who impact their community, bringing the Kingdom of God to every family.
Our mission
To connect people with God, restore families, disciple believers and raise up leaders filled with the Holy Spirit who transform their community through the love, faith and power of Jesus Christ.
Our values
God's presence
We believe the Holy Spirit is essential in everything we do. Prayer, worship and the Word are at the center of our life and ministry.
Family
We believe in family unity, restoration and empowerment. We strengthen marriages, parents, children and healthy relationships.
Love and restoration
We believe no one is beyond God's love. We welcome people with grace, compassion and hope.
Unity
We believe in a church united in purpose and vision. We work as a spiritual family, honoring and supporting one another.
Discipleship
We believe every believer has gifts and talents and needs training to use them well in serving others. We seek lasting transformation as well as conversions. We equip mature, steadfast and committed believers.
Excellence
We believe God deserves our best, so we strive to live with order, integrity and excellence. We give our best as we serve in every area and assignment.
Evangelism
We believe every believer is called to share the gospel. The church exists to reach people.
Service
We believe serving others is an essential part of Christ's model of leadership. We follow His example by serving with humility and love.
Leadership development
We believe in raising up and empowering new generations of leaders. Every believer should receive thorough training to develop their gifts and talents.
Community impact
We believe the gospel is Good News that speaks to every part of life. The church should be a light and a source of practical help for the community.
Statement of faith
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, true, infallible and the final authority for Christian life and faith.
God
We believe in one eternal God, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin. He died for our sins, rose on the third day and will return for His church.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not through human works.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of spiritual gifts to build up the church.
Healing and miracles
We believe God continues to work in power, healing and restoring lives.
The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, with the mission to evangelize, disciple and serve the world.
Baptism
We believe in water baptism as a public testimony of faith.
The family
We believe the family is God's design and should be strengthened and protected.
The second coming of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return in glory for His church.

Abel and Angélica Leyva
Throughout their pastoral journey, they have demonstrated service with love, compassion and commitment to God, their calling and the people they serve. They have shown a desire to see lives transformed, families restored and people growing in their relationship with God.
As pastors of Bet-el, they have a great vision and responsibility to reach the lost, guide, teach, care for and equip the congregation, forming disciples and leaders who continue extending the Kingdom of God. Our desire is to keep moving forward together, United in the Spirit and Transforming Lives.
From Our Pastoral Heart:
“We are glad you are getting to know Bet-el. Our desire is to help you grow in your relationship with God and find a community where you can share your faith, develop your gifts and serve with purpose.”We would love to meet you ↗
